Of great interest are the Museum of Ceramics and the Church of St. Donato, whose ceiling was defined by Carlo Levi as the "Sistine Chapel of Italian Majolica".
Home of important ceramists, Castelli is defined as "Pottery Country" and every year, from the last Sunday of July to the first of September, there is the appointment with "Agosto a Castelli", a famous ceramic handicraft market, which draws many tourists and ends with the launch of the dishes.

Museum of Ceramics

In the halls of the Museum, housed in the former Franciscan convent of S. Maria di Costantinopoli, it traces the history of the castellan majolica. The most ancient dynasty of master castellans, which has distinguished itself in the art of majolica is that of Pompeii (XVI century), authors of the beautiful pharmacy pots of the so-called "Orsini Colonna" typology, present in the most important museums in the world.

The civic collection includes many works from the High Middle Ages to the present day, donated above all by the citizens of Castelli.
